DBUS CARDS:

Cards that can be used on urban buses in San Sebastian (DBUS) but not on Lurraldebus buses.

You may apply for the card in accordance with the group to which you belongs.

DBUS REGULAR:

Contactless photocard from KUTXA savings bank. Payment modes possible with this card:

Card without photo, both contact and contactless cards. Payment modes possible with this card:

Requirements:
Anyone can obtain this card in KUTXA saving banks (contactless) or in Caja Laboral savings bank (contact).

LURRALDEBUS CARDS:

Contactless photocard.

These cards can be used in both San Sebastián (DBUS) urban buses and Lurraldebus buses.

On San Sebastián (DBUS) urban buses, the amount corresponding to the regular travel pass fare (or the night fare in the event of Night Owl buses) will be discounted from the card’s credit for each journey made. Lurraldebus cards can not be used on DBUS buses.

TOURIST AND VISITOR CARDS:

The cards are available with and without photo. The photocards are personal and non transferable. The cards without photos are transferable but they do not have allow discount or large family fares or the possibility of a monthly bus pass.

Any user who fraudulently uses the card will have the card confiscated and be fined €60.

Caja Laboral savings bank:

Tel.: (+34) 901 333 444 (Card information) Caja Laboral savings bank only issues contact cards (only includes regular and discount travel passes).
These cards can be topped up at ATMs.

Saving entities will issue these new regular cards. Anyone who has the right to benefit from discounted or large family fares must go to UDALINFO (c/ Yenta 1, Hall del Ayuntamiento from 9am to 2pm and from 4pm to 6pm weekdays) with the corresponding certifications so that the card can be changed to a large family, young person or discount travel pass, whichever the case may be.

NEWS STANDS AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS:

Cards can be topped up with amounts from €5 to €300 at news stands and in some public buildings.

DISCOUNT CARD REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED

Who can apply?

People registered as voters in Donostia-San Sebastián and whose income does not exceed the IPREM (€15,817) by 2.5 times and fall into one of the following groups:

Procedure for over 65 year olds:

  1. Obtain a photographic card
  2. Go to UDALINFO to validate the profile of the card with the following documents:
    • Original National Identity card.
    • Copy of Income Tax Return or certificate of exemption.
    • Contactless or contact card
  3. It will be validated on the spot and the YELLOW “S” sticker will be applied.

The cardholder’s census registration date will be officially checked by the City Council.

Procedure for persons with disabilities:

  1. Obtain a photographic card
  2. Go to UDALINFO to validate the profile of the card with the following documents:
    • Original National Identity card
    • Certificate from the Regional Council of Gipuzkoa granting the condition of the disabled person with the scale of mobility (“A”, “B” or a minimum of 7).
    • Copy of Income Tax Return or certificate of exemption.
    • Contactless or contact card
  3. 1.It will be validated on the spot and the YELLOW “S” sticker will be applied.

The cardholder’s census registration date will be officially checked by the City Council.

Procedure for other applicants:

  1. To apply for the travel card first of all go to UDALINFO presenting the following documents:
    • Original National Identity card of the beneficiary
    • Printout of request
  2. Once your request has been accepted, you will be sent a certificate granting the concession of the discount card by post.
  3. Purchase a contactless or contact photocard
    4. ,
  4. Go to UDALINFO to validate the card profile. It will be validated on the spot and the YELLOW “S” sticker will be applied.

The cardholder’s census registration date will be officially checked.

LARGE FAMILY CARD REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED

Who can apply?

Members of large families who are registered voters in Donostia-San Sebastián.

Procedure:

  1. Purchase the contactless photographic card (only in KUTXA savings bank)
  2. Go to UDALINFO to validate the profile of the card with the following documents:
    • Original National Identity card (the Family book for children under 14 years old).
    • Large family book or certificate.
    • Contactless card
  3. The card will be validated immediately and the GREEN “F”sticker will be applied.

The cardholder’s census registration date will be officially checked by the City Council.

YOUTH CARD REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED

Who can apply?

Persons up to 24 years old (inclusive) registered as living in Donostia-San Sebastián and whose income does not exceed the IPREM (€15,871) by 2.5 times

Procedure:

  1. Purchase the contactless photographic card (only in KUTXA savings bank)
  2. Go to UDALINFO to validate the profile of the card with the following documents:
    • Original National Identity card (official certifying document for children under 14 years old)
    • Copy of Income Tax Return or certificate of exemption (if employed).
    • Contactless card
  3. The card will be validated immediately.

The cardholder’s census registration date will be officially checked by the City Council.
